In het kader van de tentoonstelling ‘Nr. 14 Light Play’ (Z33, begijnhof) uit 2006 organiseerde Architectuurwijzer vzw een architectuurwandeling door Hasselt.
Het parcours loopt langs de meest markante moderne architectuur in Hasselt waarbij je in werkelijkheid kan zien en ervaren hoezeer de twee abstracte begrippen ‘licht en ruimte’ onze leefwereld mee bepalen. Ontwerpers proberen ze te beheersen, maar vaak zijn ze ongrijpbaar en komt het gevoel dat ze oproepen toevallig tot leven.
De wandeling ‘Hasselt anders belicht’ is gratis en wordt geleid via een kaart en een podcast. Deze zijn in bruikleen te verkrijgen in Z33, maar ook hier te downloaden.
‘MASSATOERISME’ kadert in het project MASSA dat architectuur begrijpelijk wil maken voor iedereen. Het bestaat uit kleine en grote reizen waarbij je boeiende architectuur ontmoet en ter plaatse ontcijfert.
